July 14th, a magic word for quite most of the French people : without any historical view of the event (military parade on the Champs Elysées), it's for all of us like summer, a "petit bal", the fireworks...
Raoul Dufy - Tour EiffelAs I spent a lot of July 14th's celebration in Paris, I feel free to recommand to you the places where I prefer to go, like the Rue Mouffetard, a small dancing place, where you/we are sure to share nice time with real Parisians and tourists of course!
On another side I'll despite the "Bastille" (the famous place of our Revolution), because it's so awful on this time...
Be careful, the dancing (petit bal des pompiers) is always on the July 13th's evening, instead of the fireworks, on the July 14th and always at Eiffel Tower's site!
For both evening, I highly recommand to take the metro !
